Specifications
14 ft long × 7.5 ft wide × 3.5 ft high
10 cubic yards — holds about 50–70 bags
1–2 tons included in the flat rate
About 18 ft long × 10 ft wide, plus door swing
Flat-rate pricing across the lineup is based on the size you choose, the type of debris and how long you keep the container — delivery, pickup and disposal are all rolled into that one number, no hidden fees. Debris needs to stay below the container's top rail on every size so our driver can haul it safely, and that holds whether it lands on your driveway or, on the rare job that needs the street instead, wherever the local right-of-way rules allow.
Is this the one?
The 10 yard carries the smallest number on our lineup, but it does real work: room for roughly 50 to 70 standard trash bags of dense material in a container short enough to sit square on some of Lakeland's oldest, narrowest lots. That includes the streets around the Munn Park Historic District downtown, added to the National Register of Historic Places on November 3, 1997, where century-old parcels and tight setbacks leave little room to spare for a bigger box. Hazardous materials — chemicals, fuels, batteries, paint and refrigerants — are never allowed in any size roll-off, this one included; those need a certified hazardous-waste program instead, not a container headed for North Central Landfill in Winter Haven.
At 14 ft long × 7.5 ft wide × 3.5 ft high with a 1–2 ton weight allowance, it's built for dense debris rather than bulk — a single-room strip-out, old tile and plaster, a small shingle tear-off, or a yard's worth of trimmings from one of the citrus properties that still dot The Ridge across Polk County. The low side walls make it the easiest container on the lot to hand-load, and its short footprint fits comfortably on a standard driveway without crowding the garage. Almost every 10 yard we set across Lakeland and the surrounding cities sits entirely on private property. On the rare job that genuinely needs the public street or right-of-way instead, Lakeland's own Non-Utility Right-of-Way Permit process applies within city limits — and it carries a specific rule worth knowing: the City can require a permitted street-placed container removed with as little as 24 hours' notice. Call and we'll help you sort out whether your address needs that permit before the truck ever leaves the yard.
Straight advice: If the pile is dense — tile, plaster, shingles, a little concrete or masonry — this is usually the right container no matter how small the job feels. Keep debris below the top rail and you're set; a bigger box doesn't help with heavy material, it just costs more to move around the yard.
Compare
Same flat-rate pricing model across all five. The real question is which weight allowance and bag capacity matches your material — dense debris, roofing, a remodel or a construction phase.

A single-room strip-out, a small roofing tear-off, yard trimmings, or general cleanout debris from a smaller in-town property. It holds roughly 50 to 70 standard trash bags of debris and a 1–2 ton weight allowance — it's the shortest container we run, which is exactly why it sits square on tighter, older lots around Munn Park and downtown Lakeland without crowding the street.
In most cases, no. Almost every 10 yard we deliver sits entirely on the customer's own driveway or private property, where a permit question doesn't come up. If the container genuinely has to sit in the public street or right-of-way instead, Lakeland's own Non-Utility Right-of-Way Permit process applies — note that it lets the City require a permitted street-placed container removed with as little as 24 hours' notice. Call and we're glad to help you sort out whether your address needs it.
Yes — it's one of our most common calls for brush clearing, trimmings and general yard cleanup, including the kind of grove and landscaping work that's common on properties across The Ridge, Polk County's historic citrus belt. Keep it below the top rail and it clears easily.

We run dumpsters out of our 515 Mabel Ave yard across every corner of Lakeland and out into Polk County and Central Florida / the I-4 corridor. If your community is not on this list, call us anyway. We probably still get there.
